Does anyone have any suggestions regarding a romantic restaurant for Valentine's Day?

Yes!  Geja's is the perfect place for a romantic Valentine's dinner.  It is a charming fondue restaurant on Armitage and the fondue is amazing.  They have fondue for two and you get cheese fondue, a salad, your choice of entree fondue, and then chocolate fondue for dessert.  I'm not sure if they are booked already for Valentine's Day but it is the most romantic restaurant in Chicago.

Besides Geja's, there are a couple others that may have Vday specials - Grotto on State is a nice steakhouse to go to with a beautiful atrium view, also depends on what kind of food you like - Italian?  Asian?  Steak?  Fondue?  Mediterranean?  Something different?

Thanks girls! I've been wanting to check out Geja's...that sounds great!

DeeJ -I seem to know most of the good Italian spots in town. Do you have any Asian cuisine recommendations?

Definately The Golden Nugget, with multiple Chicago locations for you and that extra special somone, tell them Guy sent you!  This won't get you a discount or great service, just a few strange looks....

Well - for Asian food - there's a couple different options - here are some nice places to hit up:
for Sushi/Japanese food:
Hey Sushi
Sushi Wabi
Japonais
Kamehachi
Meiji
for Vietnamese/French food:
Le Colonial
Chinese Food:
Dragonfly Mandarin
Other special occasion restaurants:
tapas is always fun
Melting Pot is a more trendy romantic - Geja's is a bit more on the intimate (think dark and lots of candles) and oh, yeah - if you go to Geja's - Monday has half price bottles of wine (YUM!)
Pops for Champagne is always fun, too
*and of course - my favs are still steak houses and Brazilian churrisca :)

You can also check opentable.com who has a list of Valentines Day restaurants. Many restaurants require a deposit on V Day or have a cancellation penalty.

Cafe Bernard is a great place for french bistro food. Very romantic and excellent escargot and creme brulee.

Thanks Cindy! That's perfect too- I forgot about North Pond. I just went there for the first time for my friend's engagement party (her aunt is actually Nancy Warren) and it was so good!
